Tap into my years of experience - I am in my late 30s and have studied music from age 4. Throughout my life I've been involved in a variety of bands and music projects. It is a real passion.

I've sung in choirs, played saxophone in Jazz bands, played guitar in classical quartets, rock, pop, blues, heavy metal, Bossa Nova and Funk bands.

I have been a bassist/vocalist supporting singer-songwriters at performances.

I have performed Brazilian drumming with a 50 piece Samba 'bloco' called Toque Tambor at local events and major festivals and events in UK and Ireland including WOMAD, London Thames Festival and twice on the mainstage of Rhythms Of The World (2008 and 2012 alongside members of Rio Group Monobloco).

As a sound engineer, I have recorded many bands using pro mixing desks and outboard gear.

I have been using Computer Music Technology since 1993 and have an industry credit for MIDI programming on a major release from EMI. I also worked in the House and Techno Music scene in Portugal for 2 years, teaching DJ friends how to use their recording equipment and software. We also were a live Drum & Bass act supporting LTJ Bukem in 2000. These Portuguese friends have since continued in their studies of music technology and had commercial success with tracks featured on compilations.

Through Music Technology I have learnt about computers. I now work in a large global IT company but offer tuition in my free time. I work shifts, so the times I can teach are very flexible and known well in advance.

I make music under the name Damon Breakz and have released my own electronic tracks alongside Producer friends from around the world, as a collective called Cosmic Core which I direct and initiated. In 2013 we released our 3rd Album, all downloadable for free ( , *N.B. P.G. on some tracks).

..but my main musical focus right now apart from Cosmic Core album direction, is my (mostly) Bossa Nova live act on voice and guitar, singing in Portuguese and English Please pay me a visit, Thank you!
