Mr Laurence Bennett

I was born in 1973 and grew up in Lincoln, singing in the Cathedral Choir and studying piano with Geoffrey Greed before moving on to Leeds College of Music (1993-96). I then began my teaching career (piano and keyboard) but also performed regularly as a pianist in theatres and restaurants and went on several UK tours as a session keyboard player, including performances in major London venues and Glastonbury Festival.

As a result my experiences and musical tastes are extremely wide ranging and I am genuinely happy to teach all different styles on both piano and keyboard. I continue to work on developing my own classical piano performance, giving regular recitals in the Norwich area, and gaining the ALCM diploma in 2013.

I have now been teaching for 22 years and I enjoy it more and more every day.

In my spare time I enjoy coastal walks and camping trips to the Lake District with my young family.
