Curtis is an excellent singing teacher, who is always striving to improve his teaching and his pupils learning. I have had many lessons with Curtis and in each one he is precise, determined and inspiring. He constantly made me feel comfortable and I truly believe Curtis's guidance and excellent teaching skills got me into GSA.

Curtis has a brilliant understanding of how a persons voice works and what affects it. As someone who benefits from understanding how a machine works in regards to it's outcome, this teaching style works very well. Furthermore, Curtis is very receptive to my goals as a student and a singer. At our first lesson he asked me what I wanted to improve upon and what i wanted to get out of lessons. I said I wanted to improve my range and get some audition ready songs and after 2 years my range has gone from G4 to C5 and I have several songs that I could perform at an audition today.

I have always enjoyed my singing lessons with Curtis. He is a great teacher and without being at all pushy he gets the most out of you and always brings out your strengths. Highly recommend him.
