I aim to be a highly positive, encouraging and patient teacher. I love to do all I can to draw the best out of each individual student.

Having learnt to play piano at an early age, I went on to study saxophone performance as a major part of my music degree.

I enjoy teaching both adults and children and have lesson times available during the day and in the evening. Lessons take place at my home in Nab Wood, Shipley.

I offer saxophone tuition from beginner to Grade 8, Piano and theory I teach up to Grade 5.

When your lessons begin I will be keen to find out what you would like to achieve, then tailor things accordingly. You can work towards music exams if you wish, but there is no pressure to do this if you simply wish to learn for enjoyment.

I currently enjoy a varied and busy life as a musician, teacher and MD. Currently I conduct Leeds and Bradford All For One adult community choirs and local school choirs. I am part of the team at The Workplace Choir Company, running staff choirs for companies and other organisations. I also work as an Artis Education Performing Arts Specialist, delivering a creative curriculum in primary schools.
