I started teaching the flute as a schoolgirl, the flute teacher at my school had too many pupils, so she gave the overload to me. After leaving the Royal College of Music I became the principal flute teacher of the same school.Subsequently I have taght the flute for all ages and standards, including theory lessons where required.
I am a very experieced teacher and player - I was Principal Flute with the Royal Ballet Sinfonia ( orchestra of the Birmingham Royal Ballet) for 30 years.
