Simon has over 25 years of experience as a performer and instrumental teacher. His current students range from 8 to 80 years old, and he caters for all standards from complete beginners to advanced students wishing to pursue a career in music.

He studied Clarinet at the London College of Music under the direction of David Campbell. After spending some 10 years working as a performer and educator in London, he moved to Wiltshire to continue developing his musical career.

In addition to private tuition, he currently teachers Clarinet and Saxophone at St Mary’s School, Calne and Downe House, Newbury, as well as a variety of teaching for the Wiltshire Music Service. He has a passion for developing the musical ability and interests with students of all ages and standards.

Simon has a Certificate of Teaching from the ABRSM, an MA in Instrumental Teaching, as well as performance diploma from the London College of Music. He is currently studying for a Doctorate in Education at the Institute of Education, London.
