Rebecca graduated in 2007 with a BMus (Hons) specialising in Viola. Whilst there she won first prize in the Watson Forbes Viola Competition. Rebecca then gained the prestigious Drapers Scholarship to her postgraduate year of study at Trinity College of Music in Greenwich, London.

Alongside her training, Rebecca was invited to play with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera and Rod Stewart's band, as well as performing at prestigious events for the Duke of Edinburgh and Bill Gates.

Rebecca is Upper Strings and Piano specialist at two of the Southís leading independent schools and boasts an impressive record in securing high exam performance for her students, enabling music scholarships to acclaimed musical institutions, including St Swithunís School, Winchester.

Rebecca has gained a wealth of experience within the education sector, teaching one to one, accompanying on the Piano, coaching string ensembles, chamber groups and orchestras at a number of schools.

As a performer, she has played in many significant UK venues such as St Johnís Smith Square, and The Globe Theatre, London and Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. Aside from her Classical playing, she is also a member of the Red Fez Orchestra, performing on Violin and Viola and playing Jazz from the 1920's and 1930's.

Rebecca's main aim is to provide enjoyable music lessons for all age groups and levels. She creates a calm atmosphere that is conducive to learning. Some students like to work towards a graded examination and others learn just for fun!
