Jake is a flexible teacher who can offer both focused training for ABRSM examinations, and tailored lessons exploring your interests and personal goals. He is comfortable teaching classical, jazz and popular styles, and can work creatively with students on their improvisation and composition skills. He often arranges music so that his students can pursue their own musical interests whilst developing their technique, aural ability and theoretical knowledge.

Jake is a scholar at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, offering piano, brass and music theory tuition in central London. He has been giving instrumental lessons since he was 16 years old, teaching early years students, children and adults. He has also delivered workshops with organisations such as the National Youth Orchestra, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Bradford Music Service and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
