Tobias Patrick Wolf is German conductor and trumpet player. His career in the music industry started with a position at the International Beethovenfest Bonn and a liaison with international participants including the world’s most renowned orchestras, soloists and conductors. He gave his Scottish debut with the University of Aberdeen Wind Ensemble at the Aberdeen and North East of Scotland Music Festival 2016 which was awarded with a gold award for an ‘outstanding’ performance. He is Assistant Conductor of the University of Aberdeen Symphony Orchestra, the Marischal Chamber Orchestra, and University of Aberdeen Choral Society. Tobias Wolf was awarded with the James Lobban Conducting Scholarship in November 2017 and he is Assistant Conductor of the Aberdeen Bach Choir for the season 2017/18. He was appointed District Youth Conductor in the administrative district of Neuwied, Germany in 2010 and he was Artistic Director of the klangTunnel Music Festival, Erpel in 2015. As a Tenor for the UoA Chamber Choir, he took part in their top 3 UK Chart Album ‘Immortal Memory’ in 2017. Tobias performed concerts for the Royal family, including HM The Queen and TRHs The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. He is Music Director of The King’s Philharmonic Wind Orchestra since its foundation in May 2016.
