Notes:

Whether you are completely new to the world of the guitar and or an experienced player looking to gain an edge, I provide fun and practical coaching covering a range of styles, including rock, pop, blues and metal.

I can help to demystify the guitar and show you the quickest route to playing your favourites songs, licks, riffs or solos. Importantly I believe in teaching how to use what you are learning to create songs and solos of your own! In addition I can cover gear and how to get the set up best suited to you and find the sound you want and that is unique to you.

I am based in SW London and can teach either at my home or I can come to you.

ABOUT ME:
I have been playing guitar for as long as I can remember. I was first inspired by my best friend’s brother who could play the intro to Chuck Berry’s Johnny B Goode. My first and only goal therefore was to be able to play it too! Well, I managed to do that and this fuelled my passion even further. To this date I am hooked!

I started my journey with a fantastic tutor who taught me how to play what I really wanted and be passionate about the guitar – not just how to pass grades. Since then I have had the good fortune to have played with many wonderful musicians on many stages and in all sorts of weird and wonderful places, including spending over two years in the music scene in New Orleans playing both in bands and as a session musician. I’ve gained a huge amount of experience and knowledge along the way, which I am passionate about sharing with other aspiring or fully fledged guitarists.
