I am a classically trained musician with a wide range of professional performing experience as an operatic bass/bass-baritone, concert singer and chorus member in the UK and Australia. This includes work for Opera North, Pinchgut Opera, Cantillation, St Mary's Cathedral and as a freelance soloist for a range of choral societies. I am always seeking to extend my professional development and understanding and continue to study privately with Michelle Wegwart (Opera National de Paris, Bolshoi Opera). I have also performed at university level as a piano accompanist and clarinettist. I offer lessons in all aspects of technique, musicianship and performance, and am happy to prepare students for grade (ABRSM/Trinity) or school performance exams. I offer singing lessons and vocal coaching at 50£/hr and piano and clarinet tuition at 40£/hr. I am also affiliated with the Centre for Music and Science (University of Cambridge) and a full member of AOTOS (Association of Teachers of Singing).
