Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

I come from a musical family and have been playing instruments and singing since the age of 5. I trained as a cathedral chorister before focusing more on the violin, then switching to the viola which has been my first instrument ever since. I worked up to Grade 8 standard on the piano before I came to London to study viola full-time, and I continue to sing regularly as a choral tenor.

I am now a freelance professional viola-player with a special interest in chamber music.

I have extensive experience working with beginners but am equally comfortable teaching at all levels and ages. I have worked in schools (DBS checked) and have been a tutor with Superstrings, a charity based in Wiltshire, for several years.

My lessons are engaging, fun and rewarding, and I tailor my holistic approach to each individual's needs.

For more information, don't hesitate to get in touch. Either drop me a line at [email protected], or call the number above.

I cannot teach at my location, so I travel to my students.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I also offer lessons online via Zoom.
