For fun, I offer tuition in the folk & traditional fiddle styles found in Britain and Ireland, Scandinavia, Western Europe and North America. I have a special interest in the rich repertoire of home grown folk tunes from Northwest England and from Lancashire in particular.

For formal study, I offer tuition and local assessment through ABRSM and in Scottish Traditional Fiddle through Trinity College.

I lead the Palatine Fiddlers a weekly community based workshop for fiddle players.

I also lead the Union Street Country Dance & Ceilidh Band and Bowland Strings who both provide traditional music for special occasions but in different ways.
