Qualifications:
Associate of the Royal College of Music
Member of the Society for Teachers of the Alexander Technique
Instruments: Viola
Violin
Chamber music coaching
Genre/Style(s): As a classically trained viola player, I teach mostly in this style, though I also play and teach using folk music from various parts of the world, and on violin as well as viola. If you are a violinist it is quite easy to make the transition to viola, and I enjoy helping people to discover the delights of the inner parts of the ensemble on this very mellow instrument.

I have experience working with children of all ages from 6 and up. I also enjoy working with adults - whether they are experienced players or complete beginners, as well as those who are returning to playing violin or viola after a long gap.

As a qualified teacher of the Alexander Technique, I am keen to help people to play with the least amount of physical strain, and the greatest amount of freedom.

I am very keen to encourage both adults and children to take part in chamber music or orchestra, see my website www.CherwellChamberMusic.com
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced
Memberships: (verified) The European String Teachers' Association

Notes:

See website www.CherwellChamberMusic.com for exciting new programme of chamber music and ensemble workshops and classes for adult beginning and intermediate players in Oxfordshire and Devon.
