Instruments: Saxophones, Alto and Soprano
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

I have been playing saxophones for 50 years. I qualified as a music teacher from St Mary's University College, London and taught in both secondary and further education. I specialise in alto and soprano saxophones and bring years of performance skills to my teaching. I have led and played in Big Bands, Jazz Combo's, Musical Theatre Orchestras, and various ensembles as well as a soloist.

I provide lessons for beginners to more advanced players and do so from either my home based studio situated between Inverness and Nairn in the Highlands of Scotland or at other venues to suit the individual learner. I also offer coaching in individual and ensemble performance, this can range from taking practice sessions to full rehearsals and band leading.

I also teach on the Animari Partnership Ltd Music Exploration and Creative Journeys Project.

Animari Partnership Ltd is a unique social enterprise developing new ways of working as a ‘profit for purpose’ business creating communities of interest and purpose where values and actions come together for the greater good.
