Teacher of all styles of singing, from Opera to Heavy metal, all standards from beginner to professional. I am convinced that(especially)young voices would benefit from a through grounding in the basic physical aspect of singing, for, as Harry Plunket Greene wrote in his "Inerpretation in Song", 'When one sings, one should not be aware of the throat'. I have been teaching privately and in schools for 33 years and am still performing.

On the Singing Faculty at Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts, main duties solo coaching, giving young students a thorough grounding in vocal technique based on Bel Canto/Husler but allowing the development of the studentsí instrument to make it adaptable to all styles of music; occasionally deputising for colleagues in class situation, where I explore with the students performance in song, alongside audition technique practicals including best practice for preparing songs and how to cut songs to be a suitable length (as in best 16 bars).
Member of Singing Faculty at TrinityLaban College of Music, teaching vocal studies on the Foundation Degree Musical Theatre Course. Main Duties solo coaching, and repertoire building.
A member of Association of Teachers of Singing and Incorporated Society of Musicians.
