Chi has consistently been labelled as one of the most outstanding guitarists of his generation. After winning a full scholarship to study at Chetham's School of Music Manchester, Chi studied with the eminent Professor Gordon Crosskey.

As well as regularly appearing in concert as a soloist,Chi often performs in masterclasses and at exhibition conferences for the likes of Gary Ryan, Emmanuelle Segre, Fabio Zanon and Craig Ogden. Last year Chi was invited to play at the annual European Guitar Teachers' Association and recently performed at Manchester's Town Hall in front of many distinguished guests and politicians. Chi has also won numerous awards and competitions including a much coveted Musicas Award and at an early age won the Young Guitarist Of Kent competition.

As well as appearing as a soloist, Chi performs as leader of the Chetham's Guitar Quartet and is a member of The National Youth Guitar Ensemble and will play alongside John Williams this summer.

Chi has great experience of teaching at all levels and is renowned for his patient, inspiring and deeply musical teaching. He is surely one of the finest young teachers in his area and this is reflected in his appointment as Chief Music Tutor for Anglo Continental Educational Group's summer school series in Bournemouth.
