Notes:
Currently studying for a BMus (Hons) degree at Huddersfield University. I play Piano to LTCL standard, which I attained at the age of 16 in 2010. I enjoy playing solo piano, but I have a particular interest in accompanying. I play trombone to Grade 8 standard, and I enjoy playing in a wide range of ensembles. I have played in Brass Bands, orchestras, big bands, and also pit orchestras. After receiving trombone tuition from Richard Brown, principal trombone of the BBC Philharmonic, my present tutor at University is Jonathan Beatty. I am also 2nd trombone with Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band. I have a particular interest in playing in pit orchestras on both instruments, having played Trombone for productions of Oliver, We Will Rock You and Sister Act. I have played keyboard for productions of The Wizard of Oz, The Drowsy Chaperone, Shout - The Mod Musical, and most recently, Les Miserables, for which I was also the repetiteur throughout the rehearsals.
