Notes:

I am a flautist and music graduate offering flute lessons in and around Edinburgh. I am friendly, patient and aim to make lessons as fun as possible, with an emphasis on using music as a means of expression. I have years of orchestral playing experience, most recently as principal flute of the Edinburgh University Music Society Symphony Orchestra and the Edinburgh University Chamber Orchestra, and also as principal piccolo of the Universities of Scotland Symphony Orchestra. I have been teaching beginner and intermediate flute players for 4 years and have had students successfully sit ABRSM exams.

I am able to offer a free consultation lesson to all new students, to meet and discuss your experience and goals. I am happy to travel to teach students in the Edinburgh area.

From August 2020 I am also available to teach online through video calls on a number of platforms for a discounted price - please feel free to get in touch to arrange an online lesson!
