Alasdair Wells is a prize winning graduate from Leeds College Of Music, specialising in Jazz and Popular Music Performance. Most notably, Alasdair has performed with Kimberley Walsh, Alistair Griffin, upcoming singer-songwriters Bianca Gerald and Edmund Jeffery, at the First Direct Arena for the opening ceremony of the 2014 Tour de France, The 2012 London Olympics, popular online channel 'Sofar Sounds' and has also finalised in several competitions including the country wide search 'Open Mic UK'.

Alasdair's Jazz outfits include the noted Leeds based bands The Calvin Travers Trio and The Aleks Podraza Trio, who have performed at various corporate functions, exclusive parties and music festivals. He has also performed in the Leeds College Of Music Contemporary Big Band.

As well as Alasdair's Jazz projects, he also performs with 1940's themed band Alex Graham and The Concords, The Jive Doctors, Whatever Happened to Luca and KUDOS Functions UK.

Aside from performance on Drum Kit, Alasdair is actively involved in several percussion-based ensembles, including Natalie Holmes, Alex Marshall, Sammy Jagelman and Nicky Powell, with whom he will play either Cajon, Djembe or a selection of orchestral percussive instruments.

Alasdair is a passionate teacher with a great interest in educating students with as much knowledge and musical flair as possible. His understanding for individual needs allows the student to progress as a creative individual whilst also appreciating the technical and physical aspects of the instrument.
