Notes:

I was born in London and studied at Cambridge University obtaining an MA Honours (too many years ago to mention!). My passion has been music and I have been teaching (violin, piano and music theory) for many years to children aged 4-17 as well as adults. Several of my pupils have been awarded Music Scholarships to top independent schools (including Westminster School, Winchester College, Westminster Under School) and places in the National Children’s Orchestra of GB (NCOGB). I have successfully prepared pupils for their ABRSM exams with my pupils being awarded Distinction.
Over the last few years I have been helping with the Violin section of the National Children’s Orchestras of GB, helping during monthly rehearsals and preparing the children for their concerts. Many of the parents have been extremely grateful for the support and guidance I have provided to their children. I was also Senior Violin Tutor at Chelsea Quavers Music School in London.

I sing with the Westminster Choral Society and perform at venues such as the Barbican, Royal Albert Hall, St. John's Smith Square and Westminster Abbey.

I attend many Master classes at the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music since I believe learning is a life-long journey.

I have 2 teenage boys of my own, whom I teach violin and therefore appreciate the needs of young children in today’s pressurised environment. I am passionate about music and believe music can be enjoyed by all children no matter what their ability level is.
