Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Notes:

I have been teaching privately for just over five years and have gained a considerable amount of experience in that time. I have also taught at Newcastle College as a lecturer on the HE Access course, which has given me the confidence to teach small/large groups.

My main love in music is Jazz, however I also teach many other genres such as Blues, Pop, Latin, Funk and Rock music and am happy to teach any level of musician from complete beginner to someone who wants to expand their playing into different styles or to have a deeper knowledge of the style they currently love to play.

I would prefer to teach at the student's home, however lessons can be taught out of my house near the Metrocentre if desired.

If you have any questions regarding the lessons, or price, feel free to give me a call with the mobile number given above. Cheers
