Raymond Wui-Man Yiu is in the final year of his undergraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Joan Havill. Previously, he studied at the Aberdeen City Music School in Scotland with Peter Evans, and made his concerto debut with the Meadows Chamber Orchestra in Edinburgh in 2010. He won the Concerto Competition at the Edinburgh Competition Festival in 2012, after performing Prokofievís Concerto No. 1. After winning the title of Aberdeen Young Musician of the Year, he performed concertos with the Aberdeen Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Deeside Symphony Orchestra. He has also given recitals at the Aberdeen International Youth Festival and the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. He has recently won the Springboard Concerto Competition in Brighton and the Worthing Concerto Competition with Prokofievís Piano Concerto No. 3. He is grateful for the support by the Christine Brown Trust, Dewar Arts Awards and the Guildhall School Trust.
