Mr Adrian Hill

I commenced my singing career at the age of six in the local parish church choir. I was awarded a choral scholarship to the choir of Magdalen College in Oxford where I gained a very firm grounding in singing. I have studied at both the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music with Timothy Penrose and Kevin Smith among others.
Instruments: Voice
Genre/Style(s): Classical
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

I teach Singing and Mathematics - closely related. My repertoire covers many different styles and centuries - from Purcell to Bernstein, from Schubert to Ligeti. I have toured Europe, Scandinavia, Japan, Asia and America as both a consort singer and soloist with, among others, the Tallis Scholars, the Sixteen and St Paulís Cathedral Choir. My wide experience gives a thorough understanding of the technique of singing.
