Biography

The Notting Hill Orchestra for Film Music has been founded by two sisters: Rossi Dusheva (piano) and Ivelina Dusheva-Martial (violoncello).

Ivelina and Rossi began their musical studies in Specialized School of Music Pancho Vladigerov in Bulgaria.
The sisters were fortunate to study music theory, harmony, polyphony, aural and main solo subjects under the guidance of fantastic music experts.

After their degree in Bulgaria, the sisters were offered full scholarships and the opportunity to continue their studies at one of Europe's most renown conservatoire, Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot. As a I result they obtained Masters Degrees in Solo performances.
The sisters have performed on stage since very young age, taking part in music competitions and concerts in Bulgaria as well as other parts of Europe.
Their repertoire would always be classical but when the idea about film music came to them they thought it would be fantastic to perform music known to the wider audience and share their own interpretation with them.
The Orchestra offered its first concert in October 2014, just 3 months after it was founded, performing selected film soundtracks and popular classical works. The feedback was fantastic and many people who attended immediately expressed interest about future performances. The second concert was in April 2015 and tickets were completely sold out.
