I'm a friendly, experienced music teacher who welcomes those from all ages, abilities, and those with additional needs.

I've been playing violin since the age of 5, giving me years of experience to share. I played in orchestras throughout my childhood, performing around the UK and Europe, before studying at the University of Birmingham (all practical tuition was undertaken at Birmingham Conservatoire). I continued to play in orchestras whilst studying, and led one of the orchestras in my final year.

After graduating I began to teach. I've spent five years teaching 1-2-1 violin at Bromsgrove School Of Music alongside my own private teaching practice. I also regularly plan and facilitate creative music lessons in schools around Birmingham. Additionally I perform as a session musician for film and TV.

I'm passionate about making music accessible and enjoyable for all, and have experience working with autistic and visually impaired children. I welcome anyone with any additional needs to get in touch.

I'm DBS qualified.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
