Suzannah Clements was awarded a first class honours degree from the Royal College of Music where she studied with Sue Thomas and Jaime Martin; alongside this she was winner of the All Flute Plus flute prize for 2 consecutive years and the Edward and Helen Hague Senior Woodwind prize. She then went on to gain a Masters from the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of Karen Jones and Sam Coles. She was the winner of the Chris Taylor flute prize and graduated with the DipRAM, the highest diploma awarded by the Academy.

Since graduating, Suzannah has been performing as a freelance flautist with numerous orchestras across the UK, including the Philharmonia, London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra and City of London Sinfonia. She has also performed as a deputy for the acclaimed West End shows such as ‘Miss Saigon’ and 'Half a Sixpence'. Notable solo engagements include recitals at the Rachmaninov Hall, Moscow Conservatory, 1901 Arts Club and a concerto with the Brandenburg Sinfonia at St Martin in the Fields.
Suzannah is also a founding member of the Magnard Ensemble

She is passionate about music education and has been teaching privately and in schools since 2010. She draws on her wealth of teaching experience to tailor lessons to each individual student and has an extremely high success rate in preparing students for ABRSM or Trinity graded music exams.
