Completed Educare child protection training course. (more)
Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Chris is a professional tenor singing internationally on the opera, oratorio, and recital stages. He is in demand as both a performer and a singing teacher.

Chris ensures his pupils reach their true potential through a linear progression made possible through his expert knowledge of the voice. From classical to musical theatre, pupils learn to sing as healthily and efficiently as possible.

His students regularly perform on the West End, live on radio/television, and have gained full scholarships at top-level education establishments such as Chetham's School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Chris' pupils have a 100% merit (and above) rate for ABRSM graded exams. Alongside teaching privately, he also teaches singing at the Gateways Independent School in Harewood.
