Notes:
I trained as a classical pianist at Birmingham Conservatoire from 1997-2001 graduating with a 2:1.
Performances included the Schumann Piano Concerto, the Concerto for Two Pianos and Percussion by Joseph Swantner, and, regular participation in weekly Masterclasses.
I was also awarded 1st prize in the Beryl Chempin Beethoven Piano Competition in my final year at the Conservatoire.
I teach privately at my home in St Crispin, Duston, as well as at various Independant Schools across both the Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire area. This includes St Edwards School Oxford, The Dragon School Oxford, and Quinton House School back in Northampton
I also work for the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust where my work with the Trust involves teaching piano in both Primary and Secondary schools, and also some individual tuition. I have been working for the Trust since September 1998.
I am also a freelance accompanist in Northamptonshire and the surrounding area.
I am very keen to pass on my experience to all ages and abilities from beginner to advanced (including Diploma), and use both the Associated Board and Trinity Guildhall syllabus for students who wish to take exams..
