Child Protection Course:
Completed Educare child protection training course. (more)
Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Hello, my name is Rory and I am a teacher, pianist, and writer.

I have a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music. I am an accompanist at the University of Manchester, and have over a dozen years of teaching experience.

I teach a broad range of ages and abilities: my students are between the ages of four and sixty, from beginner to diploma level. I have also taught at the University of Manchester.

As a cellist, I was section leader of each orchestra I attended, and I have sang with the Charles Wood Singers, Queen's University Chamber Choir, and conducted the Queen's University Music Society Choir. I am also trained in First Aid.

Please take a look at my biography, or visit my website - - for more information. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I look forward to meeting you!
