Megan's passion for music began aged two, learning piano then and later cello, choral singing and piano accompaniment. She was the principal cellist with the Coventry Youth Orchestra, conductor of the Hulme Hall Orchestra in Manchester and a member of the Hallé Choir. She now teaches piano, cello, singing and musicianship and has published in the EPTA Piano Professional Magazine on innovative teaching tools that she has invented. Recent achievements by her student community include being awarded 5 prizes in the E-MusicMaestro 2020 UK Online Piano Competition including two First Prizes and a young cellist winning First Prize their school music competition.

Megan is an EPTA Professional, and designed and ran the "Kodály for Pianists" course at the Chethams International Piano Summer School 2018, including teaching on the Piano Teachers' Course. She offers workshops to other teachers and the students of other teachers during the school holidays. She teaches piano, cello, singing and musicianship to children aged 2-11 at a Primary School, after five years' as Musicianship Lead at Ealing Junior Music School, where she was designing and running classes for children aged 3-11.

Megan supports students in pursuing their own musical goals, and has a strong track record for delivering happy musicians, excellent ABRSM exam results (incl. Grade 8 and Grade 7 Distinctions) and student success in competitions, auditions and scholarships. She studied with Leon McCawley for five years, and continues to invest in her own musical development, studying performance and pedagogy with Dorian Leljak and piano, cello and voice with teachers from the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She studies Alexander Technique and Dalcroze. She holds advanced qualifications in Kodály Musicianship and in teaching and learning. She participates in continuing professional development, for example completing training in Colourstrings Strings and Musicianship Teaching with The Szilvay Foundation and Jazz Improvisation with Nordoff Robbins. She provides Cello Ensemble, Performance Club and Adult Musicianship Classes for students, where aural, improvisation and sightreading skills are developed.
