Notes:

Matthew Todd is a classically trained tenor but has experience in many styles of music ranging from Rock to Opera. He is passionate about teaching and has a good deal of experience and training in teaching children and adults of all ages. He specialises in teaching boys to sing and has experience of helping them negotiate their changing voices.

"I have a pupil centred approach where I try to find out what excites each individual and to get to grips with their preferred style of learning. I try to establish clear goals where possible. This could be working towards an exam or performance but, in the past, pupils have preferred to make recordings or even write their own song to perform which I am very happy to assist with. It is my belief that, for singing more than anything else, there must be a genuine passion, whether you want to train to be a professional singer or just sing for fun: if you can bring the passion, I will do the rest!"
