Notes:

I have 15 years experience as a musician, and have played in a variety of ensembles from orchestra, swing band to jazz and motown groups and rock bands.

I teach guitar as a performance instrument and also from a more traditional musical perspective.

I teach beginners the basics of the instrument, and help intermediate and advanced players further both their technical ability and theoretical knowledge.

I encourage all advancing students to undertake transcription and composition work to help them progress and can provide mentoring for this.

I provide all the necessary tuition materials, but I am happy for students to bring their own, for example a book they may be working with.
