Notes:
I have a varied and extensive range of teaching experience. Following graduating from the Birmingham Conservatoire in 2014 I spent a year teaching in Birmingham working on a freelance basis and with the award winning Strings Club as a peripatetic tutor and Curriculum Coordinator. I hold the position of viola tutor with the National Orchestra For All and I am founder and creative director of Make The Paint Dance.
I have experience of teaching individuals, small groups and whole class and have taught students from the age of three to adults. I currently work as a Teaching Artist with In Harmony Opera North.
During my undergraduate degree I was selected for a number of teaching and outreach positions. I have taught with the Aston Performing Arts Academy, was a mentor at the Junior Conservatoire, worked with Orchestra of the Swan Education Department and was an In Harmony Apprentice. I have also led workshops in Birmingham High Schools and with The Strings Club. I also hold a Masters Degree from RWCMD where I was awarded the Reverend Paul Bigmore Award for Outreach Upon Graduation.
I am passionate about passing on my musical skills and knowledge and aim to ensure that my teaching offers a dynamic, creative and nurturing learning environment for all students.
