Mark Donlon
I studied at the Royal Academy of Music, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and London University.
I have been working as a highly successful professional pianist and composer in the UK and internationally since 1985.
As an educator I have been teaching and examining for many years at institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, Trinity College of Music (as professor of Jazz Piano) the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and I am currently a Senior Lecturer at Leeds College of Music.
A number of my students have won national awards and scholarships for Piano and Composition.
I have a small number of vacancies for committed and talented private students from ABRSM Grade 5 level up to postgraduate level who wish to study either Jazz or Classical piano or a combination of both. I can help students who are preparing for Music College/University auditions and A level Music composition. I can also offer specialised tuition in Jazz Improvisation to Jazz students who play instruments other than Piano.

I teach in a pleasant and welcoming music room with a Yamaha C3 grand piano. I am located conveniently 3 minutes from Junction 26 of the M62 with good public transport links to the surrounding region.
