Notes:

I am an active and in demand professional musician and teach privately alongside performing. I previously taught guitar, ensemble studies and improvisation at Leeds College of Music.

I also have experience teaching trombone and (lower) brass both within and outside of schools (being formally trained as a trombone and Euphonium player before degree studies as a guitarist, and also worked professionally as a trombonist).

A tailored programme of study will cover the obvious areas of technique, harmony/theory, sight reading, improvisation etc. depending on the students preferred route, but also with a focus on language (advanced students) - in whichever style the student wishes to pursue. I pay special attention to this as a multi-instrumentalist having studied different styles and instruments in depth.

Lessons take place at my home in SE London, which is fully equipped with teaching facilities.
