Hello! My name is Calum Morrison. I'm a Glasgow-based guitar, banjo, mandolin and bodhran player and teacher. I've spent the last 4 years touring the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand with a variety of shows and productions such as the National Theatre of Scotland and Irish Dance Show 'Celtic Legends'. My main area of expertise is Traditional music but I'm happy and able to teach a variety of styles and cater lessons to your tastes. I have a wealth of experience teaching acoustic guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo and bodhran to children and adults in the UK and North America in one on one lessons and group workshops.
Through lessons with me you could expect to improve/develop skills in the following areas:
- Tune and song accompaniment
-Technical Skill
-Picking/strumming/rhythmic technique
-Repertoire of traditional/contemporary tunes and songs
-Musical ear development
-The ability to play with other people

On top of all this, we'll hopefully have a load of fun!

So if you're interested in learning a new instrument or help mastering the one you already play then please get in touch!
