ĎI have been taking violin lessons with Rebecca for the past two years now and they always say that you canít teach an old dog new tricks but Rebecca has managed to do so! I was 55 when I started and had never really picked up a violin before but she has managed to produce a grey haired pretty competent violinist who can not only play the violin but can read it off sheet music too. She wasnít responsible for my grey hair by the way! She is such a talented musician and has such a passion for music herself that she inspires you to do the best that you can. I have found her to be patient yet encouraging and challenging enough to help you steadily improve your practice. She is very organised in her approach and she also provides an excellent repertoire of practice materials on her website which is great for helping you practice between sessions. Overall I think she is a fantastic teacher and I would highly recommend her not only to the more mature budding musician like myself but am sure she would be an excellent teacher to all age groups.'

'My son has been taught by Rebecca for 6 months now and relates well to her calm, easy manner. As a complete beginner, his confidence has grown enormously in this time and is now keen to put himself forward for grading exams. He is so keen that he has now enrolled in his school's ceilidh band! Rebecca provides enough range and variety to the lessons to keep her students engaged and motivated and I would highly recommend her to other budding musicians!'

'My son has been going to lessons with Rebecca Brown for almost 6 months and from the very beginning has been coming home with new tunes. He has lots of new tunes now which he practices faithfully so he can show Rebecca. He has really grown in confidence and looks forward to his lesson every week. Rebecca is really kind and patient and is really lovely to deal with. Between private tuition from Rebecca and the school lessons, our son gained a distinction in his Grade exam. We were thrilled and more importantly so was he!'
