I have 6 years experience in tutoring private students of all ages, as well as leading group workshops. I aim to provide lessons that are both enjoyable and stimulating, bringing an element of fun to sessions with students of a younger age. As a teacher I am patient and understand the importance of guidance that is not pressured but at the same time organised and progressive.

A typical 60 minute lesson will usually start with a short discussion/review of the set home tasks or practice schedule, followed by music theory practice. Next; a mixture of scales and technical exercises and sight reading, followed by repertoire exploration. Each lesson is ended with aural training for younger students and/or beginners.

I can also offer tuition in singing, introductory conducting and theory, as well as composition and improvisation tips.

I teach in central London but I'm happy to travel within reason with the addition of travel expenses.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
