I am a recent graduate of both Manchester University and the Royal Northern College of Music: I graduated with first class honours from Manchester University, receiving the Proctor-Gregg prize for the highest undergraduate recital mark, in 2013. I was recently awarded a 'higher' GRNCM diploma after four years of studying the bassoon and contrabassoon in Manchester under the guidance of principal players from the Hallé and BBC Philharmonic orchestras. An active chamber musician and orchestral performer, I enjoy performing with various ensembles across the North and throughout the country. I was thrilled to take part in the 2012 London Sinfonietta Academy, where I was able to explore my love of contemporary music. I am currently working towards a PGCE qualification (with QTS) at the University of Leeds. Fully CRB checked, I am equally enthusiastic about teaching adult learners as well as children and students. Concerto performances include the Mozart concerto, the Weber concerto in F major and Weber's Andante and Hungarian Rondo.
