I have had 18 years' experience teaching a range of students from beginner level up to Grade 8 standard (both Associated Board and London College Exams), having started teaching young children at the age of 16 while I pursued my own classical training. My students have included those of all ages, including adults. In addition I have extensive experience working with and teaching children and adults with learning disabilites and Autism in both schools and other settings. I tailor teaching flexibly to the needs and wishes of the individual student, in order to help them reach their potential.

As well as teaching, I have had a wide range of experience as a repeteteur and accompanist, taking on the role of Musical Director and vocal coach for many musical theatre productions over the last 15 years. I have also worked as an accompanist for Associated Board of the Royal College of Music and London College of Music exams since 1998, alongside having a keen interest in and extensive experience of running of choral ensembles, both with a classical and a jazz focus.
