Notes:
My teaching experience is extensive and wide-ranging. I have worked with students of various ages and abilities, both in preparation for ABRSM exams and for personal development. In addition to teaching music privately, I have worked as a learning assistant at Firrhill High School, where my role was to help pupils with learning difficulties access all aspects of the curriculum.
As a solo pianist and singer, I have performed at the Queen's Hall, the Reid Concert Hall and Greyfriars Kirk. In 2018, I won the Marion Richardson Medal for solo singing in the Edinburgh Competition Festival and was invited to sing at the Highlights concert in the Queen's Hall. As an accompanist I have played for ABRSM, SQA and university exams, the Edinburgh Competition Festival as well as a broad range of choirs such as EUMS Chorus and the Pentland Singers.
I am currently organist at Ebenezer Church as well as being the conductor of Dick Vet Musicians' orchestra and choir. I was also a guest conductor with Edinburgh University Musical Medics.
I am a full member of the PVG scheme
