My name's Essie and Iím a 27 year old self-employed actor and experienced singing teacher living in Clapham. Whether you have never had a singing lesson before and just fancy giving it a go, or would like to hone and strengthen your vocal technique, confidence and repertoire, I will be fully dedicated in helping you achieve your goals. Iím aware that everyone has their own relationship with music, as well as with their own voice, and feel very strongly in the importance of personally tailoring sessions to allow you to engage, build confidence and reach your full potential.

A bit about me:

I received formal training from a young age and recently graduated from one of the top ranking British drama schools, The Oxford School of Drama, where I undertook the three year course in Professional Acting. During this time, I gained great experience from highly accomplished and professional voice and singing tutors, with whom I worked with on a regular one to one basis.

As a tutor I bring a confidence, warmth and passion that allows my students to feel at ease and maximise their time with me. Whilst I use a keyboard when teaching songs and technique, I predominantly work with backing tracks, which allows me to fully engage with the student as they're singing.

Whether you're an adult learner looking to improve your technique and get singing more, or a parent of a child that would perhaps like them to take singing exams, I will be fully committed to achieve the best results and maximum enjoyment!
