Gus McQuade is a Classical guitarist who has been playing since the age of 8 and whose passion for music has led him to study at the Royal Academy of Music under Professor Michael Lewin and Professor Stephen Goss where he currently studies now.

During the past 3 years Gus has developed his teaching skills through tutoring guitarists of all ages and ability levels. He is more than happy to help students with whatever area in music they want to develop, whether it is playing, learning to read music or general musicianship, Gus will be able to apply what he has learnt over the years to make his students get the most out of their lessons, whilst ensuring that they are fun and engaging. Gus is able to teach from complete beginner to advanced and has experience teaching all ages.

Gus recently has been invited to perform at the new Warwick Hall as a guest artist for Craig Ogdens concert as part of the Leamington Music Festival in June 2019. In both 2017 & 2018 Gus was the winner of the recital class for the Leamington Guitar Competition Festival. During his time at the Academy he has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best guitarists in the world including David Russell and Fabio Zanon who he has frequent lessons with.
