An encouraging and inspiring teacher with a varied background and over 8 years experience teaching all ages and standards. Daniel also has a specialty for training adults in non-music careers to maximize their practice time and enjoyment, students here including doctors, lawyers and even an astronaut on board the ISS. Daniel has performed mostly in the United States with orchestras such as the Honolulu Symphony and Ars Lyrica. He recorded a CD of chamber works by Christopher Rouse with the Calder Quartet released in 2009 on E1 records, runs the Cambridge Flute Masterclass in England, and teaches at the Cambridge Performance Masterclass with leading performers in cello, violin and piano (www.cpmcuk.org). He recently performed live on Houston's KUHF radio and at the National Flute Association in New York. Daniel also won first prize at the 2009 Myrna Brown Flute Competition.
