Hamish is a professional clarinetist and an award winning composer, having attended Chetham's School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music (Junior department).

Hamish has played with orchestras including the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the Halle Youth Orchestra as well as working with members of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Manchester Camerata to have original compositions recorded and performed.
