Notes:

I have been studying and playing music for over 20 years and completed ABRSM Grade 8 Music Theory and ABRSM Grade 7 Piano before gaining a BMus(Hons) in Composition at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

After playing the guitar in bands, the violin in orchestras and the mandolin in folk groups, I have learnt that the key to a great musician is heart and skill. So I when teaching, I combine technique and knowledge with passion and a love for music.

If you need to pass Grade 5 theory before moving onto further grades in you instrument then drop me a message. I am a nerd for theory (I did Grade 8 for fun?!) and would love to help you succeed. Music theory is so important if you want to be a strong musician, get in touch and I'd love to take you through all the grades.

If you're looking for a new piano teacher, want to brush the cobwebs off your old talent or want to try taking up the piano, then look no further. I started piano lessons when I was 4 years old (I have gotten better since then I assure you) and have loved playing ever since.

If you're interested in composing for bands, orchestras or solo instruments then my degree in Composition will come in handy for instruction and advice. I would love to help build up your composition portfolio for applying to university or strengthen you A Level and GCSE compositions.

As a self-taught guitarist, I know what it is like starting from scratch. If you wanna learn a few songs and strengthen your playing then I'd love to guide you.
