A bit about me...

I started playing drums at the age of 14. From playing the drums I gained a strong passion for music and a drive to develop as a musician and understand musicís many complexities. I had a difficult time in school mainly from the age of 7 when I had been told I had severe dyslexia and dyspraxia. Music allowed me to express myself where I failed to with words, showed me I had the potential to be a high achiever and provided me with the joy of success. I was privileged to have access to additional support as a young child, to develop skills and ways of overcoming my learning differences. These experiences taught me the power of my own determination/hard work and why education and a strong supportive network are important to succeed.
