Dear fellow music lovers,

no matter if you are looking for a teacher for your child, or if you are keen to learn how to play to piano, to learn to sing or how to read music yourself, I welcome everyone who is eager to learn how to make music.

Music is not only beautiful, exciting and great fun to learn, but has been scientifically proven to heighten our sensitivity, increase the clarity of our thinking and develop our ability to communicate.

I am very happy to say that these wonderful experiences are not limited to a certain, younger age group.

In my many years of teaching, I have found the cliché that an instrument can only be learned if one begins at a very your age not to be true at all.

So, if you are an adult, or of a mature age, I wish to encourage you to fulfil this old dream of yours. Music is timeless and it is very much possible for everyone at any age to learn an instrument or to learn how to sing, even if you have ever played an instrument or had any musical education before.

No matter if you want to sing or play Renaissance music, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Schoenberg, folk songs, Musical, Pop or Opera, or even if you are interested in something a bit out of the ordinary such as learning how to read medieval music notation, everything is possible.

The lessons will be individually tailored to your or your child's interests and wishes, so while one student may want to focus on learning improvisation, or a child may want to learn her or his first Christmas songs, you may be interested not only in learning to play an instrument or to sing, but to learn about the structure, the harmonies, the history and the deeper meaning of the music you are playing or singing as well.

It is all up to you, and whatever your choices are, I am looking forward to meeting you or your child so that we can discover music together!
