Completed Educare child protection training course. (more)
Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

I'm an experienced music teacher, I've been teaching for about 9 years, students of all ages and abilities. I love teaching, I have taught many different private students over the years, and enjoy helping students reach their goals. I teach jazz, classical, pop, sight reading, theory, composition, technique, sound, and tailor lessons to suit each individual student. I always try to make my lessons fun and engaging, incorporating games and activities into the lessons for younger students, and finding out the interests and goals of my older students.

My qualifications: I studied jazz and classical saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where I was awarded a First Class (Hons) and the Anjool Malde Jazz Prize for the highest ever final recital mark.

I usually travel to students homes. I am available to teach in person, or remotely via Skype or Zoom. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
